The first thing buyers notice when pulling up to your home.... curb appeal. Make sure your home looks pleasing to the eyes. A buyer without even realizing it has judged your home the second they pull up based on what they see. You don't have to always spend a ton of money to make this happen. If you haven't heard of this thing called Google check it out. You can get tons of ideas and images to help make your yard look clean and inviting.
Sometimes it's easier said than done but a clean house makes for a house buyers can see themselves living in. I've seen it first hand; clothes on the floor and dirty dishes on the counter top. This doesn't help your house make the all-important top 3 list.
One that is often not thought about is de-personalizing your home. Personal photos, religious items, and things that are "your style". Guess what, they're not everyone's style. You want to make your house inviting. A place they can see themselves living and if all they see is you it can take that away.
